Meditation Made Easy
Been wondering how to “train your brain?” You’ve heard meditation is good for you but can’t really say why. You may think, My mind is too busy, and I can’t turn my thoughts off. It’s great for super peaceful people, but not for a busy, fast-moving, multi-tasking, high-functioing person like me. If that sounds like your response to meditation, we encourage you to try this beginning meditation workshop.
- Learn what meditation is and is not
- Practice comfortable seated positions and hand postures (mudras) that work for you
- Understand and practice meditation anchors (mindful and mantra)
The workshop is designed to provide you with tools to start and maintain your own practice at home. Certified meditation teacher Lauree Dash will take time for questions and discussions about your experiences.
Get ready to find your own felt sense of well being. Bring a notebook and pen and wear comfortable clothes (need not be yoga attire). $20
